Seasoned actor Albert Martinez will be joined by three powerful women in Las Hermanas, his comeback project in GMA after 17 years.

In Las Hermanas, Albert's character Lorenzo will be entangled with the characters of Yasmien Kurdi, Thea Tolentino, and Faith Da Silva.

Yasmien, Thea, and Faith will portray three sisters who, at a young age, faced the sudden death of their father, which left the family bankrupt. Soon after, their mother was jailed due to estafa charges.

Because of these tragedies, the three sisters will try to take matters into their own hands and solve the problems of their family. While still grieving for their father's sudden loss, the sisters also need to find money to bail their mother out of jail.

Joining them are Jason Abalos, Jennica Garcia, Coleen Paz, and veteran actresses Madeleine Nicolas and Melissa Mendez.

Completing the cast are Rubie Rubie, Robert Ortega, Paolo Serrano, and Lucho Ayala. Rita Avila and Christian Vasquez also have very special roles in the series.

Las Hermanas is headed by GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Vice President for Drama Redgie A. Magno, Assistant Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, and Senior Program Manager Camille Hermoso-Hafezan.

Under the direction of Monti Puno Parungao, Las Hermanas will soon air on GMA Afternoon Prime and overseas via GMA Pinoy TV.
