Before Jerry Sineneng took the directorial helm, it was Irene Villamor who directed the suspense drama series Love. Die. Repeat.

Direk Irene was the director of the GMA Prime series for its first cycle of production in 2021. When its production resumed in 2023, only after its lead star, Jennylyn Mercado, returned from her break after giving birth, Direk Jerry took over and worked on the show's remaining sequences.

Love. Die. Repeat. marked Direk Irene and Jennylyn working together for the third time. The first time she worked with the actress was in 2017 when the director served as a second unit director for the GMA adaptation of South Korean series, My Love From The Star, in which Jen played the lead role. The second project that they worked on together was the 2019 Kapuso rom-com series, Love You Two.

As they reunited in Love. Die. Repeat, Direk Irene was all praises for the artist, noting a testament to Jen's professionalism and stellar performance in the series.

Direk Irene said in a now-expired Instagram story, "Worked on this on its first cycle during the pandemic. Of course, @mercadojenny is the consummate professional. and one of the best! She's been through so much and amidst all the tears, the super demands from this kind of project, Jen will always be...the ultimate star! love you beb! hoping to work with you again. magkita na tayo please!"

In her reply, Jen thanked the director for her kind words, jokingly saying "Ipapa-frame ko ito direk."

Love. Die. Repeat. airs weeknights, 8:50 p.m. after Black Rider on GMA and Pinoy Hits.

The series can also be viewed via Kapuso Stream simultaneous with its TV airing.

Love. Die. Repeat. has replays on GTV at 10:50 in the evening.
