Aside from his new contract with GMA Artist Center, Clint Bondad's first rom-com series 'Love You Two' is hitting the high marks when it comes to ratings.
It's been a good year so far for new Kapuso actor Clint Bondad.
Aside from his new contract with GMA Artist Center, Clint's first rom-com series Love You Two is hitting the high marks when it comes to ratings.
Clint Bondad shares his dream project and future plans as he inks contract with GMA Artist Center
According to Clint, “That's actually very surprising kasi, the first few weeks medyo slow yung pick-up.
“But I think the reason why pumatok siya is because medyo light yung humor and medyo light lang yung show.
“Kaya mabilis lang maka tune-in kasi it's not very heavy, it's very relaxing, and it's very relatable.”
On set, the Kapuso hunk shared that Kapuso Ultimate Star Jennylyn feels like an older sister guiding him throughout his career.
At one point he even recalled starring with the actress previously in the hit comedy anthology show Dear Uge, one of his very first projects in the network.
“Actually Dear Uge was a last minute offer for me and may free day ako nun, and that's where I started in terms of working in the network. And that's with Jennylyn!
“On the set [of Love You Two], parang she's a sister. Parang ate! Cause she's very informal and casual all the time. Especially on how she speaks and everything.
“So working with her, it feels like being with someone that's familiar and siyempre it's exciting.”
But did you know that it's veteran actor Gabby Concepcion who Clint talks to the most?
He whispered, “I talk to Gabby all the time. I get lots of advice from him.”
When asked what pieces of advice does Gabby share with the six-foot-tall Kapuso hunk, Clint just shrugged.
“Haha! Well, I cannot give everything out of course.
“But he tells me to drink his water all the time. He said, 'You should be more successful than me! So here, have some of my water.' which is very practical.
“We also talk a lot about barkada stuff and some private stuff.”

Aside from Jennylyn and Gabby, Clint is also excited to work with co-star Solenn Heussaff.
“'Yung humor niya (Solenn) parang sa akin eh. We're both kind of weird and awkward sometimes, so it would be good to work with her.
“But here in the show, she's on the other love team with Gabby.
“So, I'm really interested if we can work something out in the show in terms of our characters. Maybe we could use each other to make each other's exes jealous. Haha!”
