Meet the four Sparkada girls who will spice up the story of 'Luv is: Caught in His Arms'
GMA Network's first collaboration project series with Wattpad Webtoon Studios titled Luv is: Caught in His Arms is coming this January 2023.
The said series is the TV adaptation of the hit Wattpad novel written by Filipino author Ventrecanard.
Top-billed by Sparkle sweethearts Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay, Luv is: Caught in His Arms also introduces up-and-coming Kapuso artists, who are part of Sparkada.
Sparkada is a group of 17 young, talented, and fresh faces of Sparkle GMA Artist Center who were handpicked by acclaimed starmaker Mr. Johnny Manahan.
Among these new gen of artists, who will start their acting journey in the said series, are four of the Sparkada girls, namely, Caitlyn Stave, Cheska Fausto, Tanya Ramos, and Kirsten Gonzales.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com, these new Kapuso actresses shared their initial reaction the first time they knew that they got a role in the series.
First on the list is Caitlyn, an 18-year-old beauty from Bukidnon who was born and raised in San Francisco, USA. The newbie Kapuso talent moved back to the Philippines four years ago to pursue her dreams of becoming an actress.
Sparkada Caitlyn Stave
According to Caitlyn, she was so surprised the first time she knew that she would be part of the much-awaited series which marks her first-ever teleserye.
She shared, “I was super shocked kasi siyempre first project ko 'to. So I was really excited to be part of the cast and it was actually really funny because if you saw sa interview I think it aired sa news sa 24 Oras. It was really funny because akala namin na were not the only ones auditioning so we were really shocked kasi akala namin there will be another batch that would audition so it was really a surprise talaga that we all got the project.”
Sparkada Cheska Fausto
Another promising actress to watch for in the said series is Sparkle actress Cheska, a certified beauty and brains from Zamboanga City. She graduated Cum Laude at the Western Mindanao State University with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Cheska's dream of becoming a part of a TV series came to life when it was announced that she got the role of Camille Villarico in the said series.
“Oh my gosh, ito kasi, hindi ko in-expect e, kasi kaka-launch lang sa amin as a Sparkada ganun so I was thinking na parang in a few months pa tapos biglang sinabi sa akin ng handler ko na ayun may audition daw ganito ganyan. So, nung audition day na, hindi na pala 'yun audition parang announcement na na, 'Hey you're gonna be part of the cast.' It feels so surreal kasi ano dream ko lang talaga maging part ng isang series before tapos nandito na. I felt so grateful and blessed sobrang saya ko talaga parang nag-goosebumps talaga ako,” she said.
Sparkada Kirsten Gonzales
Next is the newbie chinita actress Kirsten. This Kapuso actress already graced different commercials for brands and has also appeared in some GMA shows.
In an interview, Kirsten also shared her reaction to the casting announcement of Luv is: Caught in His Arms.
“Hindi ko po in-expect since matagal-tagal na rin po akong nag-audition and hinintay ko po talaga 'yun. Super happy ko po kasi first ever ko po ito na teleserye na main cast po ako so super happy po tapos kasama ko pa po mga Sparkada ko so I'm very happy as in very happy talaga like 'yung puso ko parang nagiging soft siya everytime na naaalala ko,” Kirsten related.
Joining Caitlyn, Cheska, and Kirsten is the 16-year-old daughter of hunk actor Wendell Ramos, Tanya. With her expressive eyes, it's no question that this up-and-coming showbiz royalty is a future dramatic actress.

During the interview with GMANetwork.com, Tanya gets real about her thoughts for being part of one the much-anticipated series and offerings of GMA this 2023.
“Very grateful kasi sa dinami-dami ng pwede nilang kunin e, ako po 'yung isa sa nakuha. So 'yun siguro nandoon pa rin po 'yung feeling na hanggang ngayon e, hindi ako makapaniwala and of course super thankful ako sa GMA and also to the cast, sa production kasi I felt really welcomed hindi lang ako but also to my fellow Sparkada kasi bago lang po kami all of us are first time' yung experience namin na 'yun so very thankful and grateful na I got this opportunity,” she claimed.
Luv is: Caught in His Arms also introduces GMA's next generation of leading men, namely, Michael Sager, Vince Maristela, Raheel Bhyria, and Sean Lucas.
