Bubble Gang star Lovely Abella is now officially Mrs. Benj Manalo after tying the knot with her long-time partner on January 23.

While the couple had been engaged since 2019, and Benj proposed again to Lovely and her daughter, Crisha Kaye, in early January, the wedding still came as a delightful surprise to many as the couple didn't really announce the exact date of their wedding.

During her recent Mars Pa More guest appearance, Lovely shared how her life has changed after officially becoming Mrs. Benj Manalo.

“Malaki ang pinagbago kahit na dati, e, nagsasama na kami for six years, e.

"Medyo totoo pala 'yun, no? After mong ikasal, mas parang in love na in love ka sa kanya. Alam mo 'yon? (Giggles)

“Iba talaga 'yung kilig ko sa kanya. Iba 'yung in love ko sa kanya.”

Lovely also revealed what had changed in their relationship dynamic ever since becoming a married couple.

“At this time, hinahayaan ko na 'yung pagdedesisyon--ibinibigay ko na po sa kanya. Kumbaga, ako nag-a-agree lang.

“Kasi before, parang ang nangyayari, laging ako 'yung nagde-decide e. So, this time pinauubaya ko na 'yun sa aking mister.”

The Kapuso actress also said that before tying the knot, they've already prepared themselves mentally for a lifelong commitment to each other.

“Kahit na before pa lang na bago kami mag-decide na magpakasal, talagang pinag-usapan namin na magiging ganito na. Wala na talagang hiwalayan, wala na.

“So, bago kami nagpakasal, 'yun 'yung inunawa namin sa isa't isa, na kailangan namin intindihin 'yung init ng ulo ko minsan.

"Kailangan niya intindihin 'yung init ng ulo. At wala na 'yung, 'Ayoko na, hiwalay na tayo.' Wala nang ganun this time.”

Lovely and Benj spent their honeymoon in the beautiful paradise island of Boracay.

And when Mars Pa More host Camille Prats asked Lovely how soon they want to have their first child together, Lovely replied, “As in 'Sana, Lord, now na, agad-agad.'

She then revealed that they have in fact been trying to conceive even before they got married.

“Kasi po talagang nagta-try na kami before, nung mga…itong pa-December.

"Pero sabi namin, 'Baka ayaw pa ni Lord kasi wala pang basbas.'

“So, kaya nag-decide kaming mabilisan po 'yung wedding namin kasi parang gusto na nga talaga namin.

“So, (we're) praying hopefully na soon talaga.”
