Why Betong Sumaya wasn't able to enter the premises of GMA

In a recent episode of Mars Pa More, Betong shared that he wasn't permitted to enter the premises of GMA because of one guard.

According to Betong, he was not allowed to enter the building of his home network as he forgot to bring his ID. Mars Pa More host Camille Prats and Kuya Kim Atienza were shocked to find out about this. Link:

“Nangyari 'to nung 2019 at may pruweba ako kung sino yung guard na yun,” shares Bentong then points to the video of him and the guard on screen.

In the video, Betong joked around and asked the guard to show his ID and told him, “Dahil po d'yan makakapasok ka na sa GMA kuya.”

The guard then spoke about the incident and said, “Pasensya na, sir, kasi ginagawa ko lang yung trabaho ko.”

Kapuso actress Carmina Villarroel agreed and said in the background, “Tama naman.”

“Ito 'yung back story n'yan, di ba, sa may likod na gate, dala ko pa 'yung damit ko na 'yan. Tapos sabi ko “Hi, kuya!” tapos sabi sa'kin “ID mo?” sabi ko “Huh?” First time ko hingan ng ID tapos sabi ko hindi ako nagbibiro, “ID ko?” eh wala naman tayong ID. Gusto ko sana sabihin na artista ako. Tapos sabi ng isang guard, “Artista yan!” tapos sabi ko “Opo, artista po ako.” Tapos hinabol nya ako ng tingin,” shares Betong.
