In a recent episode of Mars Pa More, Kapuso singer and soon-to-be mom Maricris Garcia shared a healthy and easy-to-prepare dish that's perfect for pregnant moms who get hungry all the time: The Avocado Corn Salad.

Avocado is a superfood that contains good fats, dietary fiber, and folate, which helps prevent birth defects.

So, by consuming avocado, you do not only get to enjoy its sweet, buttery taste, but you'll also get the right nutrients that you and your baby need.

To recreate the Avocado Corn Salad recipe of Maricris, you'll need the following ingredients:

Avocado
Corn kernels
Cherry tomatoes
Cucumber
Lime
Ground black pepper
Salt
Olive oil
Green onions

According to Maricris, you can grill the corn before mixing it with the other ingredients.
