Jason Abalos shares 3 easy steps in making a DIY face shield

Since August 15, the government has made it mandatory for people to wear a face shield every time they step out of their houses for work or for buying essentials, in order to curb the spread of COVID-19.

While there are affordable face shields in the market, people can also save up if they create a face shield using materials that are found at home.

In a recent episode of Mars Pa More, Kapuso actor Jason Abalos showed how to make a DIY face shield in three easy steps.

If you want to create your own face shield, here are the materials you'll need:

  • acetate film
  • sew foam
  • string
  • glue

And, here are the three steps to making your own face shield:

1. Punch holes on both corners of the acetate film
2. Glue the sew foam on top of the acetate film.
3. Tie a piece of string on both holes.

According to Jason, you can also use old frames of eyeglasses for your face shield.
