Princess Punzalan is one of the Filipino actresses known for her impressive portrayal of villain roles or kontrabida roles.
It has been a while since Pinoy fans have last seen Princess star in a film or TV series in the Philippines, the last one being the 2015 Kapuso series, Yagit.
Her most recent appearance was in the American-Filipino musical film titled Yellow Rose, which also starred Lea Salonga.
During her recent Mars Pa More guest appearance, Princess gave an update on what her life has been like now in Los Angeles, California, where she has settled with her family.

Although Princess stayed away from the limelight in the Philippines, she found her way back to acting when she settled in L.A.
She said it all started when she met someone during one of her TV show appearances in the Philippines who was studying film in New York University (NYU).
Princess said this lady asked for her help for a thesis-short film she was doing.
The Filipina actress obliged and after that, this lady referred her to another director who was looking for a Filipina actress.
She auditioned for the role in 2014 and shooting began only in 2018 due to delays in funding.
The said director then convinced her to pursue an acting career in the United States.
Princess confessed that she hesitated at first as she enjoyed her privacy in the U.S., but later on changed her mind and gave it a try.

She recounted, “Nasa San Diego kami ng mga panahon na 'yon. So, we moved to L.A.
“Pinag-aralan ko (kung) papaano ba maging artista sa Amerika. Hindi pala madali. (laughs)”
She also admitted that being an actress in the U.S. is challenging as everything is one big competition.
“Ang isa sa important gawin (is) you have to go back to school. (Attend) acting classes.
“So, I have an agent. I have a manager. And I go to class every week.
“Hindi puwedeng mag-relax-relax kasi parang malaking contest para makakuha ng audition at malaking contest din para mapili ka”
During her virtual tour of their neighborhood in L.A., Princess gave a glimpse of the park where she and her daughter love to spend time in. It has amazing features and breathtaking views.
