Kapuso actress Lexi Gonzales starts the year right with the launch of GMA Public Affairs' newest fantasy romance anthology titled My Fantastic Pag-ibig wherein she will play her first-ever lead role.
My Fantastic Pag-ibig is composed of six mini-series, and she will be starring in its first two-part weekly series titled “Love Wars,” alongside her StarStruck Season 7 fellow graduate Kim De Leon.
This is the first time the two paired up for a project, and Lexi could not be happier with her first-ever leading man.

“Kim kasi as a love team partner, he's very gentle. Tsaka ano siya masayang kasama. Nakakasundo ko siya sa maraming bagay and nagkakaintindihan talaga kami.
“Ano si Kim, e, parang may parts na alam na namin 'yung gagawin even though hindi na namin kailangan pang pag-usapan like pagdating dun, nagagawa lang namin together,” she said in an exclusive chat with GMANetwork.com.
Lexi likewise related that working with Kim during their locked-in taping was comfortable and easy since they have been friends since their StarStruck stint.
“Ako kasi madalas since marami kaming mga eksena na tinginan and everything, hindi na ako nahihirapan kasi nadadala na ako sa mata niya. Kim as a love team partner is a 100%,” she added.
“Love Wars” follows the story of star-crossed lovers - a modern-day cupid and a dating app developer.
The cupid, played by Kim, believes dating apps only result in broken hearts and diminish people's belief in finding their true love.
To prevent a bad premonition from happening, Milos/Pido tries to sabotage the progressive company of dating app called “MatchMaker,” where he will meet the dashing app developer Lovelyn, portrayed by Lexi.
