The powerhouse cast of the newest GMA Drama series My Father's Wife sat down with Unang Hirit host Suzi Entrata-Abrera and Kaloy Tingcungco to talk about their much-awaited soap, which will air this afternoon, June 23, after It's Showtime at 2:30 p.m.
Gabby Concepcion, Kylie Padilla, Jak Roberto, and Kazel Kinouchi were present live in the studio of the longest-running Kapuso morning show as they discussed the story of their new project.
During the interview, Kylie and Jak stressed the importance of the workshop they did prior to shooting My Father's Wife to establish the chemistry of the cast.
Jak explained on Unang Hirit, “Sobrang na-excite ako nung nalaman ko na mapupunta uli ako sa heavy drama, kasi parang hindi nawala 'yung momentum na 'yun 'yung ginawa ko before. Nung nag-work uli, balik uli sa pagpe-prepare kung paano physically, emotionally, and malaking tulong na nag-workshop kami together para magkaroon ng bonding at mawala 'yung mga ilangan nga.”
Kylie seconded what her leading man said saying, “It's good to ask for it so that 'yung chemistry, friendship, trust is built. Kasi ang hirap kasi months tayo magsasama.”

Convinced that Gina always takes what she wants, Betsy plots revenge by manipulating Robert (Gabby Concepcion), Gina's father. When love and envy collide, betrayal spirals into vengeance--and a daughter pays the ultimate price.
