
Promising child actress Sebreenika Santos has caught the attention of viewers, playing the bubbly Maymay in the GMA Prime series My Ilonggo Girl.
At a young age, Sebreenika had an opportunity to work with actors Arlene Muhlach, Empoy Marquez, and the Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward, who plays the dual role of Tata and Venice in the series.
In an exclusive chat with Seb with GMANetwork.com, the young actress shared that she was surprised when she knew she would be part of the new teleserye of GMA Public Affairs.
Sebreenika then talked about her previous projects before playing the role of Maymay.
“Sinabi ko po sa mommy ko na gusto ko mag-artista. 'Tapos, pinapasok-pasko niya po ako sa mga workshops, ganun. 'Tapos, napili na ako sa mga film, mga Tadhana mga ganun, Goin Bulilit.”
She also has kind words for her My Ilonggo Girl co-actors, especially their lead star Jillian Ward.
“Mabait po siya and lagi niya po hinahawakan hair ko and lagi lang po siya naka-smile. Nag-uusap-usap lang po kami, 'tapos nagtatawanan with Kuya Empoy [Marquez]," she said, describing her relationship with Jillian on the set.
Many viewers noticed Sebreenika's acting and showered her with praise online. The child actress is elated over the comments she has been getting, "“Happy po ako, ine-enjoy ko lang po and always naman [I remind] myself to be kind and I'm so happy na marami rin po ako naging friends [at fans].”
