Maja Salvador glad that Bossing Vic Sotto trusts her
Award-winning TV and movie star Maja Salvador will showcase her comedic prowess soon via her first show with GMA-7 titled Open 24/7 with multitalented comedian Jose Manalo and comedy icon Bossing Vic Sotto.
Maja will portray the role of the kikay and funny girl Mikaela, who is among the Gen Z crew of Boss EZ (played by Vic Sotto) in the convenience store.
During the panel interview with the entertainment press yesterday (May 8) at the grand media conference for the sitcom in Seda Hotel in Quezon City, Maja talked about working with Bossing, this time, in a comedy show.
“Magaan”, she continued , “Parang si Bossing kasi, hindi yata uso sa kaniya 'yung filter, e. Kung ano 'yung makita mo sa kaniya via Zoom o mapa-personal ganun.
“Tapos ramdam mo na welcome ka, talagang gusto ka niya maging parte ng (Eat) Bulaga, gusto ka niya maging parte ng sitcom at paparamdam niya na may tiwala siya. So, kahit ano'ng gawin mo nahihiya man ako minsan, pero kailangan ko tanggalin 'yung hiya. Kahit itulak-tulak ko siya, okey lang sa kaniya ganun.
“So, kaya magaan.”
Maja added that the comedy legend has the knack for making people around him at ease in an instant.
“Bibihira kasi minsan 'yung may chance ka na magkabiruan agad, but with Bossing, parang walang wall.”
Maja Salvador also expressed that if she were given the chance, she'd like to work with Bossing in a movie.
Vic Sotto has long proven his success in the box office and his previous entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival every December would always attract huge crowds at the cinemas.
The versatile actress stated, “'Tsaka, Bossing 'yan, legend, lahat 'di ba? Parang sabi ko nga, ako pa nga 'yung nag-offer makapal na 'yung mukha ko kay Bossing nung nag-pictorial sabi ko, 'Bossing! Wala ka bang gagawing movie? Mag-aapply ako 'pag nag-movie ka'.
“'Yung ako na yung ino-offer ko 'yung sarili ko, kasi gusto ko rin makatrabaho [siya], dahil lahat ng movies ni Bossing every December talagang inaabangan natin.”
