Tom Rodriguez, pinakilig ang Miriam College sa 'Pepito Manalotour'

Napuno ng hiyawan at palakpakan ang Little Theater ng Miriam College last March 11 nang bumisita ang cast ng Pepito Manaloto: Ang Tunay na Kuwento para ng kanilang 'Pepito Manalotour: The School Tour'. Lalo pang dumagundong ang sigawan sa nasabing venue nang dumating ang special guest ng show na si Tom Rodriguez.
Ang alam ng mga dumalo sa event ay kapwa nila estudyante o isang faculty member ang gaganap bilang Tom Rodriguez sa script reading ng Celebrity Crush episode ng Pepito Manaloto. Ngunit pagkatapos tawagin ang buong cast sa stage ay inanunsiyo ni Direk Bert de Leon na hindi daw available ang magbabasa ng mga linya ni Tom kaya kailangan niya ng isang volunteer from the audience.
"Parang may nagtataas ng kamay doon sa likod," sabi ni Direk Bert habang nagtataasan ng kamay ang Mass Communication students. From a crowd near the emergency exit ay lumabas si Tom Rodriguez and asked Direk Bert, "Puwede po ba ako?"
The crowd went wild as he approached the stage. Hindi inasahan ng audience ang pagdating ni Tom, at masayang masaya ang cast na napaunlakan ng My Husband's Lover star ang kanilang imbitasyon na makilahok ito sa school tour.
After the script reading, the aired episode was shown to the students, followed by an open forum.
"We aim to entertain through this, the script reading, which I hope you enjoyed. Kung wala si Tom dito baka hindi kayo nag-enjoy eh. Oo nga, andito naman ako (laughs)," biro ni Michael V., who also serves as the show's creative head, nang magsimula na ang open forum.
Sinagot rin ni Bitoy ang ilang tanong mula sa audience, including on how the story line of the show is conceptualized. "We are sort of months ahead of our schedule here. What we do is we try to create an arch of what's going to happen with the show for a whole month. Every episode, iba ang fini-feature namin. We try to emphasize on the characters individually para hindi palaging paulit-ulit. May bird's eye view ka of what's going to happen for the next two months."
The students also had the chance to have their pictures taken with the cast members as the event came to a close. The cast then proceeded to the University of the Philippines - Diliman, the last stop of their campus tour.
