GMA Network is celebrating the Playlist Music Month, and to kick-off the celebration is no less than Maricris Garcia.
Maricris is set to perform on the GMA Playlist Live on Friday, May 11, at 4 P.M. According to the singer-actress, she is overjoyed to be part of this celebration.
She expressed, “We celebrate music every day pero ngayon na may month-long celebration, nakakatuwa. Tapos eto nga, nasama pa ako sa Playlist. Sobrang na-excite din ako nung sinabi nila sa akin na gagawin ko ‘to. It is, of course, an honor to be part of this celebration.”
Maricris also admitted that music plays a big role in her life.
She shared, “I can’t imagine my life nang hindi na kumakanta. Sabi ko nga siguro kahit sobrang tanda ko na, kahit ano’ng itsura ko, kakanta pa rin ako. Kahit hindi na nila ako nakikita, basta naririnig pa rin nila ‘yung boses ko kakanta pa rin ako.”
“‘Yung music, ‘di ba nga sabi nga nila ‘yun ‘yung may mga bagay kang hindi masabi, hindi ma-express, music lang ang makakapagpalabas nun eh, makakapagsabi nun,” she continued.
Maricris will mostly perform originals and entertain questions via GMA Network’s Facebook page. Her performance is only the first among weekly GMA Playlist Live performances.
