GMA Prime series Pulang Araw is off to a spectacular start especially with the talented tweens playing the young characters of Adelina, Teresita, and Hiroshi.

In a report by 24 Oras, Nelson Canlas got the chance to talk to the young stars and they shared their thoughts on the wonderful reviews they've been getting from viewers.

Cassy Lavarias, who plays the young Adelina, revealed what Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza told her after seeing her performance in Pulang Araw.

She shared, “Magaling daw po kami tapos sabi po sa akin ni Ate Barbie ang fresh ko raw po.”

Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco also showered Migz Diokno (Miguel Diokno), the talented young actor who portrayed young Hiroshi, that his acting was on point.

Migz recalled, “Sinabi niya po ang galing ko raw po mag-Nihongo, kuhang-kuha ko raw po yung the way he acts po.”

Meanwhile, Cheska Maranan, who bagged the role of young Teresita, remembered her conversation with Sanya Lopez.

“Sabi po ni Ate Sanya, magaling daw po kami ni Cassy mag-tap dance po and magaling daw po ako um-acting and [and] pretty ko raw po,” Cheska said.

Despite their new-found success, the Pulang Araw tween stars keep their feet firmly on the ground and know the importance of focusing on their priorities like their education.

In fact, Migz Diokno studies whenever he can even during the taping of the GMA Prime series.

“Time management lang din po talaga….yes sometimes po dun din po ako mismo nagre-review sa tent po sometimes.”
