The upcoming dance competition Stars on the Floor recently held a mediacon that turned out to be more than just a sneak peek of the exciting show because the stars shared inspiration to keep chasing their dreams.

Present at the mediacon were the celebrity and digital dance stars: Glaiza De Castro, Rodjun Cruz, Faith Da Silva, Thea Astley, VXON Patrick, Zeus Collins, Dasuri Choi, Joshua Decena, Kakai Almeda, and JM Yrreverre.

Glowing at the event were the dance authority panel: Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, Star Comedienne of the Dance Floor Pokwang, Dance Trend Master Coach Jay, joined by the show's host, Asia's Multimedia Star and Box Office King Alden Richards.

Also in attendance were some of the country's top choreographers, led by MJ Arda, co-founder and coach of A-Team, as well as the creative minds behind the show: directors Miggy Tanchanco and Paolo Valenciano.

In the Q&A session, the celebrity and digital dance stars shared that they are grateful to be part of Stars on the Floor, as it is a show that will help hone their skills as performers and artists.

At first, the celebrity dance stars admitted they felt hesitant to accept the project and questioned their dancing abilities, but they pushed through to learn and inspire others.

"Naging fulfillment namin kapag natatapos namin 'yung dance. Doon kami mas lalong nagkakaroon ng fire to do more," Glaiza said.

Faith shared, "Hindi talaga ako dancer, I can dance pero kapag binigyan mo ako ng choreo pero kailangan ko siyang sipagan at aralin ng matindi. So, to be given an opportunity to dance alongside napakahuhusay na mga dancers talaga, grabe 'yung pressure sa akin."

Meanwhile, the digital dance stars shared that performing on national television was a whole new experience for them.

"Here dancing in front of the live audience, live judges, the choreographers, meron siyang pressure kasi competition, one take lang 'yan," Joshua explained.

Zeus also expressed that he was shocked by the various genres they have to dance in the show.

"Ito 'yung pinakamahirap na experience ko," he shared.

Despite the struggles that came with mastering different dance genres, the choreographers encouraged the dance stars and reminded them that they would not be going through the journey alone.

The dance authority panel also reassured them that what truly matters is the heart they put into every move.

Building anticipation for the upcoming dance showdown, they amped up the hype by unveiling the teaser for the much-awaited pilot episode.
