'Tapos na ako doon,' Kylie Padilla says on Aljur Abrenica

Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla said there is no more chance of her and estranged boyfriend Aljur Abrenica getting back together.

Kylie, in an interview with Lolit Solis on Startalk, answered “Maybe” when asked if Aljur is still trying to win her back.

But she declared: “Hindi na po ako babalik doon kasi tapos na ako doon. May natutunan na ako. Move on na.”

She admitted that she and Aljur broke up over the phone while she was still in Australia. As to the reason, “’Yun ay mananatiling secret forever,” she said, while pleading that she doesn’t want any bad blood between her family and Aljur’s.

She said it was her mom Liezel Sicangco, citing personal experience, who advised her not to get back together with Aljur.

As for her dad, action star Robin Padilla, Kylie said he allowed her to make her own decision.

Asked what she has learned from her first heart break, she said: “Na dapat mahalin ko ang sarili ko, hindi lang puro ibigay mo lahat doon sa taong minamahal mo.”

She said she had nothing to do with the break-up of her Adarna leading man Geoff Eigenmann and Ismol Family star Carla Abellana.  “Naging close kami. Naging kaibigan ko at nilagyan nila ng malisya,” she added.

Lolit Solis hinted several times during the interview that actress Louise delos Reyes may have been connected with her break–up with Aljur.

“I love you,” she told Lolit, “’Yun lang! (laughs). Hindi ko alam.”
