“Acting is my first love”- Kris Bernal
Celebrity mom and entrepreneur Kris Bernal is back on TV again with her guest appearance in the award-winning weekly drama anthology Tadhana hosted by Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.
In her Instagram post, Kris declared, “Acting is my first love. And, first love never dies.”
She then added that it was a big surprise that she got this stint to act again on Tadhana's special episode titled “Abo ng Kahapon.”
“I never thought I would return to acting on TV after 2 years+ of motherhood break 🤱🏻
“To be honest, I was halfhearted to accept this because I didn't know if I could still act, and because I'm still exclusively breastfeeding. ❤️ I thought long and hard about it for a few days before saying yes. Perhaps it's time for Hailee and I to move forward and try to establish new routines and habits. And, three days of taping wouldn't hurt so much, huh?! 🥲
“For now, episodes are all I can do. 🙏🏻 These are three episodes, three Saturdays, for @tadhanagma, at 3:15PM on @gmanetwork. Hmmm, let's see when we are ready to return to a teleserye.”
Actresses Rita Daniela and Ina Feleo commented on Kris's IG post and congratulated for this new opportunity.
Before giving birth to Hailee Lucca in August 2023, the StarStruck alumna's last soap opera was Artikulo 247 (2022) with Rhian Ramos and Benjamin Alves.
