LPA's trough to bring cloudy skies, rain over the Visayas, eastern Mindanao

The trough of the Low Pressure Area (LPA) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Visayas and the eastern section of Mindanao, PAGASA reported.

Forecast Weather Conditions

Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Davao Region, Masbate, Sarangani, and South Cotabatonwill have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA while flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms while flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Conditions

The wind speed forecast for Mindanao and the western section of Visayas is light to moderate moving in the southwest to northwest direction as coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Southern Luzon and the rest of Visayas will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to northwest direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
