WATCH: Lani Misalucha shows eliminated Clasher how to sing a Whitney Houston classic

The Clash never fails to pull off surprises in each episode.

On its October 10 episode, one of its judges, Lani Misalucha, gave a sample of her own version of belter hit, "Saving All My Love For You." This came after her comment on Mariella Sun's interpretation of the said Whitney Houston classic in the singing competition's 'Laban Kung Laban' round.

Addressing to the 28-year-old contestant, the Asia's Nightingale said, "That song for me is really sexy so I was expecting that you were gonna put a little bit of sexiness in your interpretation of the song. But, nevertheless, I think you did it well. You sang it nicely."

After Lani's performance, her co-judges Aiai Delas Alas and Christian Bautista, can't help but feel amazed over the veteran singer's powerful voice.

"Ikaw na 'yung champion, mare. Ba't gano'n," the Comedy Queen asked Lani, putting her hands down.

For his part, Christian joked, "Sa finals nga pala ang makakalaban n'yo si Ms. Lani."

In the said round, Mariella and her competitor, returning Clasher Fritzie Magpoc, had a close fight according to the judges. However, Fritzie has been voted as the winner.
