Si Chef Jose ay mapapanood bilang guest character sa The Lost Recipe, ang fantasy-romance series na pinagbibidahan nina Kelvin Miranda at Mikee Quintos. Saad ni Chef Jose sa kanyang mensaheng ipinadala sa GMANetwork.com, gaganap siya bilang isang chef mentor.

"I'm loving my role! My role is a chef in a TV series based on cooking. I will be a chef mentor to someone who really wants to master the culinary arts in the story.

"I'm really excited about the show since it's my first teleserye with GMA and the role couldn't be more perfect for me. The story is really unique, and the thing is besides the love story you can actually really learn how to cook."

Ibinahagi rin ni Chef Jose ang kanyang naging working experience sa lock-in taping with the cast and staff of The Lost Recipe.

"Everyone was really nice and they welcomed me really well, especially me being new to the network. From my co-actors, director, staff, and crew they were really friendly and easy to work with."

Ikinuwento rin ni Chef Jose ang napansin niya sa mga bida ng The Lost Recipe na sina Kelvin at Mikee.

"With Kelvin, you can really see he wants to really embrace his role because during breaks he would ask me questions about food, cooking techniques, and other things. You can really see he wants to learn."

Wala man daw silang eksena pa ni Mikee ay nagkausap na umano sila.

"We haven't had any scenes yet, but I've met her before so when I saw her on set we did talk a bit about our common friends."

Napansin rin ni Chef Jose na may chemistry sina Kelvin at Mikee kaya dapat itong abangan ng mga manonood.

"You can really see chemistry with Kelvin and Mikee. That will make the viewers really tune in and follow the story."
