Here are the guidelines for number coding scheme on Holy Week, April holidays

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced its plans for the upcoming Holy Week, including their initiative to temporarily lift the number coding scheme.
According to a press conference on Friday, April 4, MMDA said the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) or number coding scheme is suspended on April 17 (Maundy Thursday) and 18 (Good Friday), 2025.
In a new announcement on Monday, April 7, the government agency said they are also suspending the number coding scheme on April 9, 2025, for the Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor).
Aside from the suspended number coding scheme, the MMDA is also implementing a number of traffic regulations for a smoother Holy Week 2025.
MMDA Chair Romando Artes said in the same press conference that there will be a “full deployment” of 2,542 field personnel and 468 assets in major roads and transport hubs in the National Capital Region.
The MMDA Communications and Command Center will also be operational 24/7 “to monitor real-time updates through closed-circuit television cameras on different critical areas across Metro Manila and other activities and situations on the ground.”
Provincial buses are also temporarily allowed on EDSA from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on April 9 and for 24 hours from April 16 to 20 to give way to travelers during Holy Week.
