In these last few days of summer, experience once more the bittersweet pangs of young love with the DVD release of GMA 7’s, recently concluded youth drama series, FIRST TIME from GMA Records and Home Video.
FIRST TIME follows the young lives of Cyndi, Lukas, and Baste, the three central characters in the story played by fast-rising Kapuso teen stars Barbie Forteza, Joshua Dionisio and Jake Vargas.
The story begins with Cyndi (Barbie Forteza) and Lukas (Joshua Dionisio), a couple of teenagers meeting each other at the beach. Their newfound friendship is immediately put to the test after Lukas’ mother dies from a mysterious accident, which resulted in his father’s decision to move abroad.
Upon Lukas’ return, he enrolls in St. Claire Academy, where Cyndi and her childhood friend Baste (Jake Vargas) study. Together, the three of them – with the help of their teachers, families and friends - will discover and explore the many facets of “teenage life”, and of course, young love.
This coming-of-age tale brought remarkable changes to the careers of Barbie, Joshua, and Jake, who, despite their neophyte status, have gained immense popularity among viewers, both young and old. And now, fans need not miss their favorite teen stars thanks to the release of FIRST TIME on DVD.
The first three volumes (of 8 volumes) are now available at all Astroplus, Astrovision, Video City, SM Recor Bars and Odyssey Music Video outlets nationwide. Each volume costs P225.
