LOOK: Demand for Julie Anne San Jose's 'Deeper' album trends on Twitter

Almost two years after the release of Julie Anne Jose’s Deeper album, fans still demand for copies of Asia’s Pop Sweetheart’s sophomore solo album.

Before the evening of February 26, “GMARecords MoreStocksDEEPER” trended on Twitter, reaching the second highest spot on Philippine trends as of writing.

According to the Twitter analytic tool Tweetchup, that aforementioned phrase has at least 1,486 tweets and with a potential reach of 141,549 people.

According to Trendinalia PI on Twitter, “372 users and 447 tweets (391 RTs) in 5 minutes made ‘GMARecords MoreStocksDEEPER’ a Trending Topic in Philippines.”

While fans claimed that no copies of Julie’s Deeper were available via record stores, the album may be bought online via Lazada and through GMA Records’s Facebook page.

 

GMA Records commented on Instagram, “Please be informed that Universal Records is distributing our products to selected major outlets only (valid reasons are confidential). In order to address the availability problem, we made our products available for online ordering via Lazada since last year. You may also order thru our FB page. Thank you!” 

The shift to online platforms was also prioritized by GMA Records as official industry data accounted that 65% of the album sales for the year 2015 came from digital sales while only 35% are from CD sales. Nonetheless, Julie’s Deeper album is still available in Astroplus/Astro Vision outlets in the following branches:
