1.Beauty, brains, and talent
Lorraine Galvez graduated from senior high school with honors in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in 2018. This did not come easy as she had to study and compete in singing contests for the whole of her school year.
2. Top 6 of The Clash
She joined The Clash Season 2 (2019), representing her hometown, La Union. Her vocal chops and charm brought her to be one of the Top 10 Finalists of the prestigious singing competition. She nailed Bruno Mars' hit “Grenade” in one of her performances.
3. A Loving Ate
Lorraine draws daily bits of inspiration from her two younger siblings. Being away from her family in La Union, she makes it a point to call them every day. She wants her sisters to have a role model to look up to.
4. A good friend with fellow Clash competitors
With the daily grind of rehearsals, workshops, and taping for The Clash, Lorraine became close to Sassa Dagdag. Both competitors of singing competitions, they share the passion of singing their hearts out and giving their all in every performance. Wouldn't it be great to hear collaborations from these two this 2020?
5. Lorraine on Playlist Sessions
Lorraine gave life to one of GMA Post Music Production originals “Hindi Susuko” by Simon Tan. For Lorraine, this is her battle song, having been turned down by people so many times. She says she will continue to live her dream and will not have it any other way.
