Rising Filipina singer Bey from LA will be enchanting music lovers this March 31 on GMA Playlist
Cap off the month of March with soothing music from Bey on GMA Playlist, this March 31.
Los Angeles-based Filipina singer Bey went viral in 2020 after a clip of her singing "Ikaw at Ako" made rounds online.
She was then scouted by Soupstar Music for a collaboration. Her single "Crash Landing" was released on Valentine's Day 2021. The song is inspired by the highly-acclaimed Korean drama, Crash Landing On You.
"Crash Landing" landed on iTunes Top 100 Singles Chart Philippines the same day it was released. The song also made it to the Japanese Spotify Playlist, “SloDown.”
The track was composed and produced by Eunice Jorge from the band Gracenote.
The song is about hoping for one's own Captain Ri -- the person that you've always dreamed of, someone who will be there to stand by your side despite all the obstacles.
