Japanese trio SkyGarden receives positive remarks for newly-release single 'KOKOA'

SkyGarden, a Japanese trio consisting of Ryo, Hiro, and Iwa, expressed their gratitude for the warm support they received for their debut single "KOKOA," which immediately landed at the sixth spot on the iTunes Philippines chart upon its release on Friday, September 1. 

"KOKOA" is SkyGarden's first self-composed and produced single as recording artists of GMA Music's sub-label AltG Records. 

The title of the song is a shortened term for the Japanese phrase "Kokoro kara Aishiteru," which means "I love you from the bottom of my heart." The song's music was based on the Japanese anime OBB/CBB, but they decided to use Tagalog lyrics to give it Pinoy vibes. 

"Maraming maraming salamat po. We are really happy din. We are in the top 10 ng iTunes, that's really good news para sa amin," SkyGarden said during their Facebook live on Friday, September 1.

Some of the compliments they received from their fans were "Ang ganda ng song," "Nakakadala 'yung beat n'ya," "Nice music."

Watch for "KOKOA's" music video that will be released on GMA Music's YouTube channel on September 8.

Ryo, Hiro, and Iwa are well-known content creators with over 18 million views online since they started their group last year, where they immerse themselves in Filipino culture. Their group officially signed a recording contract with AltG Records on July 28.
