Papa Obet's 'Paano Ang Pasko' lands on iTunes PH Top 30
Papa Obet makes it to the Top 30 of iTunes Philippines!
Barang LS radio DJ Papa Obet has just released his new holiday track "Paano Ang Pasko" this November and the single has reached the Top 30 list on iTunes PH as of November 10.
The song marks his third Christmas track, with "Una Kong Pasko" in 2017 followed by "Regalo" in 2022.
Papa Obet shares how he comes up with ideas for Christmas songs, "Sabi ko sa sarili ko 'yung atake na gagawin ko rito, katulad na rin sa atake na ginawa ko doon sa dalawa.
"Kung sino man makikinig, papakinggan 'yung mensahe ng kanta kasi heartfelt 'yung lyrics, mapanakit."
Papa Obet also experimented with a new songwriting style for "Paano Ang Pasko." He said, "Siguro mas mabusisi ito, mas marami kaming idinagdag na materyales sa song na ito, nag ad-lib ako dito sa last chorus para mas kakaiba 'yung song para hindi flat."
