Mitzi Josh asks for one last moment in new single 'Let Me Down Easy'

Kapuso singer and actress Mitzi Josh is ending the love month with her new heartbreak song, "Let Me Down Easy," her second track under GMA Playlist.

In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Mitzi explained how "Let Me Down Easy" differs from her debut single "Could Get Used To You," which was released in August 2024.

"Actually, itong second single ko po is very different doon sa ni-release ko last year, which is 'Could Get Used To You,'" Mitzi said.

"Kasi 'yung 'Could Get Used To You' sobrang pina-in love tayo. 'Yung song is about love, comfort, in general. And, itong 'Let Me Down Easy,' mapapakuha po tayo ng tissue. Makakapag-senti tayo rito sa song na 'to," she added.

In her comeback single, Mitzi worked on a heart-wrenching acoustic, R&B song about a couple on the verge of breaking up and asking for one final moment together.

"Kinausap ko si Ms. Roxanne Fabian, which is 'yung writer. The story behind that song, it's about a couple na magbe-break na sila. Kumbaga, nanlalamig na ang pag-ibig nila sa isa't isa.

"And then, they're asking for one last moment para maging normal o maging sweet sila sa isa't isa. Eventually, magbe-break na rin sila," she shared.

"Let Me Down Easy" will be released on digital music platforms worldwide this Friday, February 28.
