Lee Victor's debut single "Nagkakahiyaan" is out now
Lee Victor fulfills his dream of having his own song with the release of his first-ever single, "Nagkakahiyaan."
Former PBB 2.0 housemate and Sparkle star Lee Victor brings his childhood dream to life as he officially debuts as a recording artist with the release of his first single, "Nagkakahiyaan," now streaming on digital music platforms worldwide.
"Honestly, what a dream come true," Lee said in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com.
"Simula pa lang nu'ng elementary ako and high school nangangarap na ako magkaroon ng sariling single. Like kung makikita ako ng younger self ko ngayon I think he will be super proud.
"Kaya I'm super thankful sa GMA Playlist na binigyan ako ng opportunity na magkaroon ng first-ever single ko called 'Nagkakahiyaan,'" he added.
According to Lee, "Nagkakahiyaan" is a song about two people drawn to each other but hesitant to admit their feelings.
"This song is about two people gusto 'yung isa't isa, may crush sila sa isa't isa, pero sadly hindi sila makaamin, nahihiya sila sa isa't isa," Lee shared.
Lee also expressed how happy he was during the recording process, while admitting the pressure he felt in wanting his first song to be perfect.
"Ang saya ko lang nu'ng nasa recording ako kasi excited na ako ma-release ang kanta na 'to. Challenges, I think yeah, the pressure is there na parang kailangan ma-perfect 'to kasi first-ever single ko 'to."
The light, relatable pop track was composed by Jade Ferreras, with Lee Victor co-writing some parts of the lyrics.
