Kapuso pop ballad singer John Rex has dropped the recording video for his latest single "Umaasa Pa Rin" under GMA Music.
According to John Rex, "Umaasa Pa Rin" is a ballad revival of The Mike Bon Gang's well-loved original, which used as the theme song for the Koreanovela Reply 1997, aired on GMA in August 2015.
The song expresses the quiet longing of someone hoping to be loved by the person they admire. For John Rex, however, it goes beyond romance--it also reflects the hope that better things will come into our lives.
