Listen to Singco Mano's jeepney-inspired track "Manong ('Wag Po)," now out on all digital music platforms worldwide.

Rising OPM band Singco Mano has released the recording video for their latest single "Manong ('Wag Po)" under AltG Records.

The band shared that the track was written on a rainy day at a coffee shop along MacArthur Highway in Angeles, Pampanga, a place they often visit and a route filled with jeepneys.

Drawing from their shared experiences of love, Singco Mano crafted the song around the backdrop of a jeepney ride.

"We wrote something, 'Ano bang experiences nating mga lalaki na pwede nating i-compile?' I think that's love. So, our experiences in love, heartaches, heartbreaks, fear of missing out, we compiled it into one," the band vocalist Paul Santana said.

"Paano ba natin ikukuwento? Simple lang, sakay tayo ng jeep. Doon nabuo 'yung bago naming single, 'Manong ('Wag Po),'" he added.

"Manong ('Wag Po)" was featured on Spotify Philippines' New Music Friday playlist upon its release on April 17.

Listen to "Manong ('Wag Po)," now available for download and streaming on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube Music, and other digital music platforms worldwide.
