Sanya Lopez’s latest single “Laro” has landed on Spotify’s All New OPM playlist, giving the Kapuso star’s newest release another spotlight among Filipino music.
Sanya Lopez is celebrating another milestone for her latest single “Laro,” which has landed on Spotify’s All New OPM playlist.
Released under GMA Playlist, “Laro” explores the complicated emotions that come with situationships and relationships without clear labels. Sanya previously described the song as being about “the kind of love that doesn't have a happy ending.” The track’s inclusion in the curated OPM playlist gives the Kapuso star’s latest release another platform to reach Filipino music listeners.
The “Laro” music video also features Sanya alongside fellow Sparkle artist Kim Perez. In the video, Sanya portrays someone caught in the uncertainty of a situationship, touching on themes of mixed signals, confusion, and heartbreak. The single is now available on various digital streaming platforms.
Sanya has also been exploring music alongside her acting career. She made her singing debut in 2022 with “Hot Maria Clara” and later teamed up with Barbie Forteza in 2024 for versions of “Naku, Kenkoy!” and “Some of These Days,” which were included in the official soundtrack of Pulang Araw. She most recently starred in the film Midnight Girls.
