NCAA standouts Jeo Ambohot, Justin Arana sign rookie deals with Converge | NCAA Philippines

NCAA standouts Jeo Ambohot of Colegio de San Juan de Letran and Justin Arana of Arellano University have been signed by Converge into separate deals just a week before the PBA Season 47 opens on June 5.

Picked third overall, Ambohot inked a three-year rookie contract while sixth overall pick Arana was given a two-year deal.

The two big men are tipped to provide frontcourt boost for the FiberXers, who are out to prove something in its first season in the league following the franchise takeover from defunct Alaska.

Ambohot was fresh from back-to-back championships with the Knights while Arana steered the Chiefs to the play-in stage but were unable to advance to the Final Four stage after a loss to Perpetual. Ambohot was also hailed the Finals MVP as Letran swept the season.

Both Ambohot and Arana were named to the NCAA Season 97 Mythical Five as well as the Best Defensive Team.
