Deo Cuajao transfers to Letran as Knights continue build-up for 3-peat bid | NCAA Philippines

Colegio de San Juan de Letran has secured the commitment of Deo Cuajao as the Knights continue to complete their pieces ahead of their three-peat bid in the upcoming NCAA Season 98.

Cuajao is joining the reigning back-to-back champions after completing his transfer from De La Salle University, where he played sparingly in the previous UAAP Season 84.

In Letran, Cuajao will reunite with his former teammates at the University of Santo Tomas like Brent Paraiso and Ira Batiller, who both transferred to Muralla in the aftermath of the "Sorsogon Bubble" controversy.

Letran athletic director Fr. Vic Calvo, OP confirmed the development to GMA News Online, adding Cuajao will have three playing years for Letran starting in Season 99.

Letran is currently participating in the FilOil EcoOil 15th Preseason Cup following an early exit from the 2022 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup.
