Vlogger Emman Nimedez finally goes home after over a month in hospital

It's been a tough few weeks for vlogger Emman Nimedez, who has been undergoing chemotherapy for his acute myeloid leukemia.

But in his latest vlog posted on Thursday, the YouTuber was proud to announce he was being discharged after about a month and a half of treatment.

Emman said the doctors allowed him to go home, but only for a week as his journey to recovery was not yet over.

"Binigyan ako ng oras para makapagpahinga at medyo makahinga naman kahit papaano, para at least bago ako sumabak sa gamutan ulit, medyo rejuvenated ang feeling ko," he said.

Emman is also waiting for the results of his biopsy, which would determine whether he can move on to the "next step" of treatment.

In his 10-minute vlog aptly titled "Baby Pauwi Na 'Ko," Emman shared he was recovering "very quickly" after going through up to four bags of blood transfusions.

He did, however, have to be careful about leaving the hospital room as he was still considered "immunocompromised" amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Finally, Emman asked his supporters to continue praying for him as they wait for his biopsy results.

"Sabi nung doctor na hilingin lang natin na mag-zero percent siya, 'yung leukemia blast kung tawagin. Kung nag-zero percent siya, ibig sabihin non pwede na 'kong mag-progress sa next step talaga which is 'yung mas matinding gamutan," the vlogger explained.

"Kasi basically magaling nako pag zero percent yung leukemia so kailangan lang nilang gawin i-make sure na hindi siya babalik so 'yun na 'yung next move, 'yung higher process nitong gamutan na 'to. 'Yun na yung phase 2," he added.

Before stepping out, Emman did not forget to thank his supporters, including his fellow YouTuber Kong TV who even shaved his head as a way of saying he was "not alone" in this fight.

"Hinihiling ko lang ulit yung walang sawang dasal niyo, maraming salamat sa lahat ng dasal at siguro ngayon ko siya pinakakailangan," the vlogger said.

Emman Nimedez, who has over two million YouTube s
ubscribers, is known for his parody videos and feel-good content.

Many fans were heartbroken to hear the vlogger announce last May 17 that he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.

Emman has since checked in with his fans from a hospital room, announcing last June 2 that he tested negative for COVID-19 and has started chemotherapy.
