Rabiya Mateo shares joy with abandoned children days before Christmas

Rabiya Mateo is on a mission to spread joy this Christmas!

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the Miss Universe Philippines titleholder shared photos from when she spent the day with the “cute babies and toddlers” at Bright Halls Children’s Foundation Inc. in Makati City just days before Christmas.

“Children will always have a special place in my heart,” Rabiya said. “When you look in their eyes, you will see nothing but innocence about life despite having sad background stories.”

Some of the orphaned children, Rabiya said, were abandoned in hospitals while others were “found in trash bins and public comfort rooms.”
