Migz Zubiri's adorable son lightens mood of Senate inquiry on COVID-19

Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri's son melted the hearts of public viewers as he appeared behind his busy father during the chamber's hybrid inquiry on the COVID-19 situation in the country.

The senator chuckled as he saw adorable Santi on the screen on Tuesday.

Earlier this month, the Senate amended its rules to allow both physical and online attendance to hearings and plenary sessions amid the COVID-19 threats.

Zubiri was one of the three senators who tested positive for COVID-19 in March. He donated his plasma to the Philippine General Hospital in April to help other critically-ill patients. —AOL, GMA News
