PNP reports 39 new COVID-19 cases, total at 4,330

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday reported 39 new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infections among its police officers, bringing the total to 4,330.

The PNP also announced that total recoveries rose to 3,001 after four more patients recovered from the illness while the death toll remained at 16.

At present, there are 2,983 suspect and 699 probable cases within the national police force.

PNP personnel experiencing symptoms similar to COVID-19 were advised to reach out to the PNP Health Service.

Meanwhile, the Philippines has reported a total of 232,072 cases with 160,549 recoveries and 3,737 fatalities. — DVM, GMA News
