Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque on Sunday said he now feels "normal" after just three days of hospital confinement due to COVID-19.

In a Facebook post, Roque indicated that his body is responding well to the medicines he has been taking to fight the disease.

"I am better after only one vial of remdesivir and steroids. I came in at the right time since pneumonia was caught early on. Doctors won't discharge me though until four more vials of remdesivir which means I will be confined until Thursday," he said.

"But I do feel normal already on my third day of confinement, enough to do my thrice a week briefings," he added.

Roque also said that he will transfer to a temporary treatment and monitoring facility on Friday to continue with his 14-day isolation.

The presidential spokesperson revealed on Saturday that has been hospitalized due to COVID-19.
