No new COVID-19 cases, deaths reported among Pinoys abroad —DFA

The foreign service posts of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) did not report any new cases or deaths from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) among Filipinos abroad on Sunday.

The DFA said that the only new reports they received were of two recoveries in Europe.

“While it could be that this is just a result of weekend dips in reporting, it is still worth taking note,” the department said on Twitter.

The number of Filipinos abroad confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 remained at 2,178.

Meanwhile, the Americas logged the highest number of Filipino COVID-19 deaths at 136. — Julia Mari Ornedo/BM, GMA News
