Philippine embassy in Washington reminds voters of returned ballots

The Philippine Embassy in Washington DC is calling on Filipino overseas absentee  voters in the district to inform them of their available options for voting after some mailed election ballots were returned to the embassy.

"Please refer to this list to check if your election packet was returned to the Embassy. If your name is on the list of returned postal

election packets, please email wdcpeov@phembassy-us.org with the subject "RTS + (Your Full Name)" to be informed of your available options," the embassy said in an advisory.

The Philippine embassy in the US' capital city to regularly check its social media platforms and website for updates and announcements.

"The dedicated personnel of the Philippine Embassy in Washington DC observe Good Friday by ensuring safe, secure, and smooth overseas absentee voting (OAV) as the Embassy finally receives the last shipment of [Commission on Eclections] Comelec paraphernalia," the advisory reads.

"Late this afternoon, the Embassy shipped out another couple thousands of election packets to voters in both the Caribbean territories and US states under its jurisdiction," it added. —LBG, GMA News
