CSB gets third win at UE's expense, Adamson keeps Mapua winless

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde notched its third win in the Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup on Sunday as it defeated the University of the East, 72-63, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

Will Gozum and Miggy Corteza combined for 31 points, with the former scoring 16 points on top of seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Robi Nayve and Frederick Pasturan chipped in 11 points each.

Earlier, Adamson University kept Mapua University winless in the preseason tournament, 85-72.

Cedrick Manzano had a double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Soaring Falcons to their fourth win of the tournament.

For the afternoon games, the University of the Philippines and the National University are currently facing each other, while De La Salle University and the Lyceum of the Philippines University will play at 3 pm. Colegio de San Juan de Letran and Far Eastern University will cap the Sunday games at 5 pm.
