San Miguel downs import-less Terrafirma

The San Miguel Beermen took down an import-less Terrafirma Dyip, 131-103, on Wednesday in the 2022 PBA Commissioner's Cup at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

The Beermen limited the Dyip, who were playing without import Lester Prosper, to 19 points in each of the first two quarters to end the half with the lead, 63-38. It was all San Miguel from there as they led by 33 points, 122-89, with 2:59 left in the fourth period before taking the win.

Jericho Cruz led the Beermen with 25 points, while reinforcement Devon Scott registered a triple-double with 21 points, 19 rebounds, and 11 assists. June Mar Fajardo posted 20 points, nine rebounds, and three assists, while Vic Manuel added 19 points in the Beermen's fifth win.

Juami Tiongson had 28 points in the Terrafirma loss.

Both San Miguel and Terrafirma will play next on November 26, with Terrafirma going against Phoenix and SMB facing TNT.
