Alex Eala drops to no. 4 in junior world rankings
Alex Eala dropped to no. 4 in the latest update of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) world junior rankings released on Monday.
The Filipina tennis sensation, who has 2,443 points, is currently behind no. 3 Kristina Dmitruk of Belarus with 2,453 points.
Staying put at the top and second spots are Victoria Jimenez Kasinteva of Andorra and Robin Montgomery of the United States, who recently won the girls' singles title in the US Open.
Kasinteva has 3,154.75 points while Montgomery has 2,453.75.
Last month, Eala saw herself slipping from second to third spot following an early exit in both the singles

The 16-year-old is having a good year after winning her maiden professional title in January, the French Open Juniors doubles title in June, and the singles and doubles titles in the JA Trofeo Bonfiglio in Milan in July.
