By BEA MICALLER,GMA News

Alex Eala is through to the main draw of the W60 Grenoble after ousting Stefania Rubini of Italy, 4-6, 6-4, 10-4 in their qualifying draw match in France on early Monday.

The teen tennis sensation had to rally from one set down to eventually take control of the match en route to the win that earned her a meeting against Swiss Joanne Zuger in the opening round of the main draw.

Eala, 16, and Zuegar, 21, will clash on Tuesday at around 5 p.m. with the winner facing either Chloe Pacquet of France and Kamilla Bartone of Latvia in the next round.

Eala, who now drops to world no. 12, also edged home bet Thanh Lan Truong, 6-3, 6-2, in the first round of the qualifying draw last Sunday.

If Eala, a two-time Grand Slam champion, is able to reach the finals, the Rafa Nadal Academy scholar may have the chance of bagging the prize money of $60,000.
