San Sebastian's Shane Requierme raring to compete again in the volleyball court | NCAA Philippines

Shane Requierme of San Sebastian College is raring to once again play on the volleyball court in NCAA Season 96.

In Chino Trinidad's report on "24 Oras," the Lady Stags' open hitter said she craves the pressure that comes along with competing against high-caliber teams.

"I'm the kind of person who wants to be challenged in everything I do. That's what gives me motivation to keep pursuing my goals in life," she said.

According to Shane, volleyball also taught her to keep bringing herself up.

"Don't let other people look down on you and your achievements because there will come a time when it's your turn to shine," she said.

Coached by the legendary Roger Gorayeb, the Lady Stags is the winningest women's volleyball team in the NCAA.

The team was in the recovery phase when the collegiate league suspended its season last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
