Prado, Morente shine as PLDT forces Game 3 vs Petro Gazz

Jovie Prado and Mich Morente dazzled as PLDT thumped Petro Gazz, 14-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-15, in Game Two of their best-of-three semifinals in the 2023 PVL All-Filipino Cup on Tuesday.

With two power spikers leading their offense, the High Speed Hitters forced a do-or-die Game Three for the ticket to the championship round.

Prado shone with an all-around outing, collecting 15 points alongside 11 digs and 10 excellent receptions while Morente chipped in markers.

Team captain Mika Reyes and Mean Mendrez each finished with 11 points to help PLDT recover from first set hiccup.

The two clubs will dispute the finals ticket on Thursday for the winner-take-all Game Three at 6:30 p.m.
