MMDA Acting Chairman Dimayuga tests positive for COVID-19

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Acting Chairman Engr. Carlo Dimayuga III tested positive for COVID-19.

This was confirmed by the MMDA Information Office, according to a report by Mao dela Cruz on Dobol B TV on Monday.

Dimayuga has mild symptoms such as cold, MMDA added.

He has started home isolation which will last for seven days.

The Department of Health on Sunday recorded 4,182 new COVID-19 cases, increasing the total nationwide caseload to 3,831,941.

Of this number, 40,016 are active cases. 

The number of recoveries climbed to 3,730,889 while the death toll rose by 44 to 61,036. —KG, GMA News
